I know, I have been negligent and have not written anything for a long while. Not for the lack of desire, on the contrary, but a lack of time. I apologize and hope to be more present in the furure.

I have wanted to share this true story with you.

I was asked to visit a house in a beautiful suburb of Montreal, where the homes normally sell very well. A realtor took over a listing for this house which lingered on the market for the previous 6 months, with no offers and only 2 visits! He wanted to sell it fast and called me in to fix the problem.

There was nothing seriously wrong with that house. But the light fixtures and the furniture were a bit outdated. Not much decor either, as the owners admitted themselves. The main rooms at the entrance were the living room to the right and the den to the left. The den was basically empty and the living room suffered from hodge podge furniture with no style.

The four of us set to work. Within 3 hours, we decluttered, moved furniture around and changed two light fixtures. A list of missing accesories was established and I brought them the next morning to finish the staging.

Je suis désolée, je sais que cela fait longtemps que je n'ai pas donné de signes de vie. Soyez assurés que ceci n'est pas par manque d'intérêt mais, tout simplement, par manque de temps...

Je voulais partager cette petite histoire d'une jolie maison située dans un quartier où, normalement, les maisons se vendent sans difficulté.

Un agent immobilier m'a demandé de l'aide: il venait d'inscrire une maison qui avait déjà été sur le marché depuis 6 mois sans aucune offre et seulement 2 visites. Alors, on m'a demandé de trouver le problème et d'y remédier.

En fait, la maison ne presentait pas de problèmes majeurs. Quelques luminaires à changer, une petite cure de rajeunissement et ajout de quelques accessoires déco...La salle familiale trop vide et la salle de sejour trop pleine et des meubles depareillés....En 3 heures nous avons tout fait.

Je laisserai les vendeurs terminer:
